Connecting your GitHub repositories to Clayton is a straightforward task, however, sometimes, third-party application access policies in the connected GitHub organisation might prevent you to do so, as they actively block any third-party apps from accessing your repositories.

If you are experiencing the same issues while adding new project please have a look a the following checklist:

  • If the project you want to add belongs to your business Organization, make sure you are using your business account when connecting to Clayton and switch to your business workspace.
  • Make sure Clayton is still an authorised OAuth application in your version control system.
  • If the project you want to add is owned by a Team in your version control system make sure your user is part of that team
  • If your account belongs to an Organization in your version control system, make sure Clayton has the proper access rights
